Our mission
My mission is to make financial growth feel more accessible, organized, and achievable by connecting individuals, families, professionals, and entrepreneurs to education, tools, resources, and opportunities, all under one umbrella.
We cannot get our time back, but we can become more intentional about how we use it. Through Freedom Jubilee, my goal is to help simplify everyday financial tasks, create greater access to resources, and provide options that allow people to keep living, working, building, and celebrating while making progress toward the future they desire.
Our story
I'm Uhura Jones, a New Orleans native now residing in Atlanta, Georgia. Growing up in New Orleans taught me authenticity, resilience, the value of good people and good food, and most importantly, the importance of celebrating the journey.
Throughout my life, I always knew I wanted more, but I eventually realized that wanting more wasn't enough. I needed education, resources, mentorship, structure, and access to opportunities I didn't always know existed. My professional experience in management, loan processing, audits, financial services, and insurance gave me valuable knowledge, but entrepreneurship challenged me to see how all those pieces could work together.
I wasn't looking for another individual service. I needed a system, one place where financial education, credit, business, entrepreneurship, personal development, tools, resources, and mentorship could connect without becoming overwhelming.
That journey became the foundation for Freedom Jubilee. Today, as a mother, grandmother, public servant, and entrepreneur, I'm building something that allows me to use what I've learned while helping others discover resources and possibilities for themselves. Freedom Jubilee represents freedom, growth and the ability to celebrate progress while continuing to build.
Because sometimes you have to keep moving before you can see how all the pieces connect. And when they finally do, it makes sense.
